PROJECT OVERVIEW
The actual global pandemic situation tends to lead us towards negative emotions, worries, frustration, perhaps desperation as we have been in isolation during several months. We have learned to do things in a different way in a very short period; the need for change has been mandatory. Though, such a situation has also guided us through new opportunities, creative experimentation, and innovation.
In the middle of the crisis we designers have a social task to spread positive messages, as they can see the world in a different way. A design that can promote good and well being.
#AppreciatingSimplicity
We designed a campaign to communicate appreciation towards the small and simple things that surround us, things we generally ignore. To appreciate simplicity in everyday moments and surroundings that make us feel good. The sound of different music, the beauty in colorful vegetables, fruits, flowers, plants, the touch of smooth textures, daylight projected through a window, the feeling of the air hitting your face. Whatever is in short reach and commonly not appreciated or ignored. The campaign is meant to be timeless though designed during the Covid-19 pandemic. I include a short phrase to support my message.
